We utilize our biomechanics and engineering expertise to develop and validate novel technologies to assist individuals with physical impairments, primarily in the field of orthotics and prosthetics.

Little Room Innovation’s mission is to develop assistive devices that enhance the mobility and quality of life of individuals with physical disabilities. We do this by developing technologies that meet the needs of all relevant stakeholders in the economic chain while focusing on best-in-class performance for the end user.

Our approach to translational research and development is to address clinically impactful problems with innovative technical solutions. We develop clinically viable solutions by ensuring that our projects embody all three pillars of effective translational research: 1) novel technology, 2) practical implementation, and 3) market viability.

Each of our solutions is enabled by innovative technology. These novel technical solutions allow for devices that exceed the performance of commercial state-of-the-art products. Additionally, due to the technical novelty of our solutions, each of our projects yields valuable intellectual property that provides legal protection.


Practical Implementation

Our devices are designed for the real world. Tremendous care is taken during the design process to ensure that our devices are practical in all regards. We deliver solutions that are elegant, durable, manufacturable, and easy to use.


Market Viability

We tackle clinically meaningful problems with solutions that are backed by viable and sustainable business models. Part of our design process is ensuring that a sizable and sustainable market exists for our devices. We ensure that every relevant stakeholder in the economic chain will be satisfied by our solution.
