Empowering you through style armor that helps you slay your day
We are excited to launch our newest collection of 18k gold plate over bronze. The collection has taken over a year to conceptualize, design and produce. It is rich in texture, detail and features stones such as lapis lazuli and Rhodolite Quartz. For the collection, designer Tony Perrin was inspired by two trail blazers of their time, Pharaoh Hatshepsut and dancer, actress and activist Josephine Baker . Capturing the iconic times they lived in through the lines, shapes snd textures of each design was key to the authenticity of each collection.
Josephine Baker
1906-1975- During WW2 Ms. Baker was the
perfect spy for her adopted France and German
party welcomed her in to perform. She was
known to smuggle notes written on her sheet
music in invisible ink and bring them back to the
French army. She also had a pet cheetah,
named Chiquita, that traveled the world with
her.
Pharaoh Hatshepsut
1507-1458 BC- The fifth pharoah of the
eighteenth dynasty of Egypt.
She was a prolific builder, rebuilt the
wealth of Egypt through trade, and
was the first to grind down
frankinscense to be used as eyeliner.
She also wore the fake, conical beard
worn by male pharoahs, because she just didn’t have time to argue.
