Weekend Mechanic 3d is an android app which provides an interface for viewing and manipulating common car components in three dimensional space. Gestures which can be used for controlling the three dimensional models as well as screenshots from the app are shown below. In addition to gesture controls for the 3d models, each model that contains more than one sub-assembly can be exploded for addition insight and clarity into how the components work. Finally, when single tapping a sub-assembly to select it an informational box will appear describing the sub-assembly and its basic usage.
